In the specialized world of trail building, Treadwerks has found a niche in full service trail consulting and construction. With over 30 years combined experience in trail layout and maintenance, partners Kent Howes and Eric Sageser bring a wealth of knowledge to the art and science of trail building.
Based in Bend, Oregon, home of nationally and internationally recognized trail systems, Treadwerks, through individual and collective efforts, and through private and volunteer hours, has been instrumental in developing and maintaining this trail system enjoyed by thousands of locals and tourists.
Treadwerks prides itself on building multi-use trails that can be enjoyed by walkers, hikers, cyclists and dog enthusiasts, and in season by skiers and snowshoers. A trail designed by Treadweks lures the user to travel its length while providing a physical, mental, emotional and spiritual experience, based on the best use of available topography and landscape.
